Mapping Committee

In October of 2006, the Council of the SEH met in Vairão (Portugal) and decided to create a new Mapping Committee with the objectives of updating the chorological data on amphibians and reptiles in Europe and of creating a website where the data could be visualised. The Mapping Committee launched the NA2RE project (New Atlas of Amphibians and Reptiles of Europe) in 2012 and published the new data compilation as an article in Amphibia-Reptilia, with free maps and GIS data.

The Mapping Committee is coordinated by its chair and includes several members from different European countries.
